Many players have been dying for a Sivir Visual Upgrade, since the outdated ordinary skin fails to impress most players. Time and time again people have been begging to have a fresh new outlook on Sivir. Here's one particular view from Konravius, a junior member on the LoL forums:

As it was countless times asked for Sivir to get visual upgrade next, and countless times confirmed that she will not, (not yet) it may still take some time before relaunch team start work on this one since they have time to make visual upgrade for "recently" released champion, though it's reasonable since Sejuani must have been freezing in her previous garb due to harsh Freljord weather.

I sincerely hope that Sivir's new look will be greatly inspired by splash arts of asia LoL client, as it was done years ago for Janna and Gangplank. As for that, there was suggestion on NA forum that she should be holding battle standard or flag which doesn't sound bad as it will certainly add some awesomeness if she could wield flag and lead others to victory with her ulti.

My suggestion is that she should have chakram or small blades attached to her belt, which she will use for attacking, and throw her crossblade only for Q. That will make better animations than current one where that crossblade shrink every time she throws it for AA or W. She could carry that crossblade on back in case she will wield flag or simply throw blades for AA with other hand if we drop the idea of battle standard. Therefore I hope that Riot already get some ideas how to improve animations for her upcoming visual upgrade.

As for her basic skin I really do stand by that it should be inspired by asian splash art because she wear actual plate armor there (although not much of it) not only piece of sackcloth. Black armor with gold plating, decorated by blue gemstones does prove her wealth quite accurately, at least definitely more than black clothes with gold fringe, decorated by blue gemstones. Her hair could be longer an more loose, rather than curled to side and design of that crossblade is better in asian splash art as well. Other than that I have no other suggestions.
I do appreciate Riot's work, however in this particular case it get obsolete, and we have been waiting for visual upgrade long enough.
Let's hope Riot will finally pay attention to all the pained cries of summoners who are waiting for a upgrade to Sivir. The image above is a concept art made by IronStylus, real name Michael Maurice, a senior Concept Artist at Riot.

If you play League of Legends on a regular basis, you should know that nearly every week, Riot releases a new rotation of champions for people to play as for free. Last week we saw the might of Mordekaiser and the secrecy of Talon take the rotation, but as it's a new week, it's a new rotation. This week, we see fearsome champions such as Cho'Gath, not so fearsome looking but as deadly Ezreal, and Garen among other champions. Here's the full list of champions included in this week's rotation:

League of Legends is popular worldwide, but that's nothing compared to it's popularity in South Korea, where it competes for the country's most played game. Some of the most skilled LoL players come from South Korea, and with millions logging on, you'd expect Riot Games Korea to dedicate a lot of time to maintaining servers, right?

That seems not to be the case, as South Korean Gamers have taken to the skies to complain to Riot Korea about the persistent server maintenance, in fact, one South Korean gamer recently posted a thread on Reddit about the horrible server management;
First i'm not good at english..I'm korean lol game user.Korean lol users are very upset because of riot korea's sever management. Korea's lol sever is almost daily flooded.Did you aready know this situation? riot korea exactly said "we expand our server so sever will not be flooded anymore"But sever is still almost daily flooding...if the sever flood when user is doing rank game.the user probably lose game and lose point...i don't want to see server flooding anymore....so please riot na help korean lol users to play game freely without server flooding....Even now sever is flooded so korean users can't play lol.....sigh,,
Lately though, it's not just been South Korean servers which have horrible uptime. Look at this uptime chart, courtesy of Loldown.com, which was made by a South Korean Gamer not long ago to show to Riot Games the horrible management;

As you can see, Korea is among the worst, but EU West takes it to another whole level. 11/25 servers are experiencing intermittent management failures. Riot Games in NA needs to slap some sense into Riot Korea, or risk losing their fanbase to rivals such as Dota 2, which has a sizeable fanbase in South Korea.

It looks as if Blizzard has some competition with Cinematics, as previously today, Riot Games released a new LoL cinematic, showcasing some of your favourite champions in a brawl to the death. It's the product of over 1 year's work, and has reached 8,000,000 views in less than 24 hours. The cinematic trailer a battle royale featuring some of the most popular champions such as Garen, Katarina and Annie. The stunning CGI hopefully will entice more people to join LoL instead of other competing MOBAs (Massively Online Battle Arenas, if you didn't know), a key one being Dota 2. Take a look at the cinematic below:

Also released was the Behind the Scenes video, which shows how all this fancy CGI animation was made possible. Featuring a especially nice-looking splashscreen of Ryze, here's the Behind the Scenes video;

So, what did you think of Riot Games' new cinematic? Do you think they give Blizzard some competition? Discuss it in the comments below.
