Many players have been dying for a Sivir Visual Upgrade, since the outdated ordinary skin fails to impress most players. Time and time again people have been begging to have a fresh new outlook on Sivir. Here's one particular view from Konravius, a junior member on the LoL forums:
As it was countless times asked for Sivir to get visual upgrade next, and countless times confirmed that she will not, (not yet) it may still take some time before relaunch team start work on this one since they have time to make visual upgrade for "recently" released champion, though it's reasonable since Sejuani must have been freezing in her previous garb due to harsh Freljord weather.Let's hope Riot will finally pay attention to all the pained cries of summoners who are waiting for a upgrade to Sivir. I sincerely hope that Sivir's new look will be greatly inspired by splash arts of asia LoL client, as it was done years ago for Janna and Gangplank. As for that, there was suggestion on NA forum that she should be holding battle standard or flag which doesn't sound bad as it will certainly add some awesomeness if she could wield flag and lead others to victory with her ulti.
My suggestion is that she should have chakram or small blades attached to her belt, which she will use for attacking, and throw her crossblade only for Q. That will make better animations than current one where that crossblade shrink every time she throws it for AA or W. She could carry that crossblade on back in case she will wield flag or simply throw blades for AA with other hand if we drop the idea of battle standard. Therefore I hope that Riot already get some ideas how to improve animations for her upcoming visual upgrade.
As for her basic skin I really do stand by that it should be inspired by asian splash art because she wear actual plate armor there (although not much of it) not only piece of sackcloth. Black armor with gold plating, decorated by blue gemstones does prove her wealth quite accurately, at least definitely more than black clothes with gold fringe, decorated by blue gemstones. Her hair could be longer an more loose, rather than curled to side and design of that crossblade is better in asian splash art as well. Other than that I have no other suggestions.
I do appreciate Riot's work, however in this particular case it get obsolete, and we have been waiting for visual upgrade long enough.
